Studio Dante di Volteradici “Christ Among the Doctors” Collector’s Plate – 1986 Limited Edition, Made in Italy
This exquisite collector’s plate, titled “Christ Among the Doctors” (Cristo fra i Dottori della Legge), was hand-crafted by Studio Dante di Volteradici in Tuscany, Italy, in 1986. Designed and sculpted by master artist Alberto Santangela, this plate represents the fourth issue in the Ghiberti Doors Collection, a series inspired by the renowned bronze doors of the Florence Baptistery, completed by Lorenzo Ghiberti in 1424 A.D.
Each plate was hand-cast and finished in ivory alabaster, showcasing fine detail and depth that reflect centuries of Florentine craftsmanship. The reverse side features a gold hallmark plate with edition details, and it comes in its original presentation box with certificate of authenticity and documentation written in Italian.
