This elegant collector’s plate, titled “The Annunciation,” was handcrafted by Studio Dante di Volteradici in Tuscany, Italy, in 1985. Sculpted by the master artist Alberto Santangela, this piece is part of the Ghiberti Doors Collection, a limited series inspired by the detailed relief panels of Lorenzo Ghiberti’s North Doors of the Florence Baptistery, originally completed in 1424 A.D.
Each plate is hand-cast and finished in ivory alabaster, reflecting the time-honored artistry of Italian craftsmanship. The back features a gold certification plaque with edition details, and the piece comes in its original presentation box with certificate of authenticity and documentation in both Italian and English.
