This exquisite collector’s plate, titled “Adoration of the Magi”, was created by the renowned Studio Dante di Volteradici in Tuscany, Italy. Issued in 1983, this limited-edition piece (Plate No. 214) is part of the Ghiberti Doors Series, inspired by the intricate reliefs of the Florence Baptistery North Doors, originally completed in 1424 by Lorenzo Ghiberti.
Expertly hand-cast and finished in ivory alabaster, this plate beautifully captures the artistry and depth of Renaissance sculpture. It comes in its original box with documentation, attesting to its authenticity and historical inspiration under the auspices of the Museo del Duomo of Florence, Italy.
